Automated Narratives

Writing narratives is perhaps the most time consuming part of completing EMS and fire reports. Much of the information that you write is already contained in other sections of the report. The FireManager takes advantage of this to greatly simplify the creation of your narrative.

Most report authors have a very distinct style of writing and have a favorite narrative format. Our narratives are based on user-defined templates that allow you to control the form and content of the finished narrative. You can create templates that use the SOAP, CHART, Storybook or any other desired format. The content of the narrative is based on building blocks that you create in your own words, so the finished product comes out exactly as if you had written it from scratch.

In just a few seconds, you can create a perfectly-written narrative, often without touching a keyboard!

You may find, however, that some of the details need to be corrected after the narrative is created. The FireManager provides a feature-rich word processor that allows you to add, change or delete text as needed.
