Personal Equipment

You can use The FireManager to track personal equipment that is issued to an employee or member. This can include items like telephones, pagers, bunker gear or even staff cars.

The types of items that you track are completely agency-defined. When you set up a new item, it can contain up to 10 attributes of your choosing.

To make data entry even easier, you can add suggestions for each attribute. For example, common manufacturers of cell phones include Motorola, Nokia and Audiovox. For vehicles, the suggested manufacturers could include Ford and Dodge.

When an item is issued to an employee, you can track the date issued and condition, as well as enter free form comments. You can also track the date and condition of the object when it was returned.
