The worst part of any EMS provider's job is documentation. Most providers do not consider it part of patient care and are resistant to spending time collecting data that seems irrelevant.

The High Plains ePCR solution was designed to minimize the time and effort necessary to accurately document patient care and collect all of the data that your state or local agency requires. Here are a few of the many time saving features we offer:

LIFEPAK® 12 Integration: Import all of your patient's case information, including the EKG waveform, right into your PCR from a LIFEPAK 12 or Physio-Control AED. Read more.

Case Correction: If you type in all lower case or ALL UPPER CASE letters, your capitalization will be automatically corrected for you.

Spell Check: A 133,000 medical and business spell checker is included.

Automatic Narrative Generation: Our template-based narratives allow you to create a perfectly-written narrative in just a few seconds, often without ever touching a keyboard!

Frequent Flyer Searching: If your agency has seen your patient before, just enter the name or date of birth and press Patient Search. All of the patient's demographic data, billing information, medications, allergies and medical history will be automatically filled in!

Single Point of Entry: If you are seeing your patient at his or her home, simply check a checkbox and the home address information will be copied from CAD information.

Auto Formatting: Fields like phone numbers and social security numbers that always look alike are automatically formatted for you. Simply type in the numbers.

Complete Configurability: Choose from nearly 500 standardized data points. Using our patient form configuration tool, you control the content of the PCR. You can hide entire tabs or individual fields on a tab. You can relabel fields to meet local needs and even set defaults.

Signature Capture: You can create and use any number of electronic forms that require signatures and capture those signatures right in the PCR.

Active Checklist: Create interactive checklists that adjust with current conditions. Use this feature for QA/QI purposes or to remind providers to do certain tasks based on the patient.

Attachments: Drag and drop digital photos or other electronic files right into the PCR for easy retrieval later.

FDA Drug Reference: Directly access the FDA medication website from the PCR.
