Alpha Paging

The FireManager has an integrated, server-based paging system that can be used to notify individual employees or groups via their alpha pager or paging-enabled cell phone. Pages can be sent manually through the built-in user interface, or can be sent automatically by other components of the software.

The daily roster, for example, uses automatic paging to notify employees if their work assignment changes. Pages are sent to all affected employees as soon as the staffing officer saves and closes a roster.

Multiple paging protocols are supported, including standard modem dial-up (TAP) plus WCTP, SNPP and SMTP internet protocols.
