NFIRS Reports

The FireManager includes an NFIRS 5.0 compliant incident reporting module that features many enhancements to improve ease of use and quality of data.

QuickFind Technology: Every "drop down" menu throughout the system utilizes our exclusive QuickFind functionality which makes finding the correct code fast and simple. With QuickFind, you can:

	Rank order the items on the list so the most commonly used choices are always on top.
	Select a code by typing a few letters that are contained anywhere in the description.
	Simply type in the code value if you know it.
	Use the down arrow on your keyboard to quickly select items near the top of the list.

Context Sensitive Forms: Data entry forms are actively reconfigured based on incident type and other data that has been entered. This keeps the forms as clean and simple as possible and helps to avoid unnecessary data entry.

File Attachments: Simply drag and drop digital photos and other file types right into your report. These files are stored in the database for easy retrieval when they are needed in the future.

Automatic Narratives: Template-based narratives can be automatically created in the author's own format and writing style. This powerful feature allows you to completely and accurately document an incident in less than a minute, often with no manual typing at all!

Flexible Code Management: The FireManager exceeds the NFIRS "Plus 1" coding requirement by allowing you to create an unlimited number of agency-defined codes in any QuickFind-enabled field. Our Reportable Code Manager ensures that your local codes are converted to acceptable standard codes when your data is reported.

Close Call Error Checking: Report authors are given immediate feedback on their work when they save the report or submit it for review. Each error is fully explained. Double-clicking on the error message takes you right to the tab and field that needs your attention.
