High Plains has acheived NEMSIS Gold Compliance status for EMS reporting. As one of only eight vendors to achieve this status in the August-October testing cycle, we are now eligible to provide EMS reporting software to agencies in NEMSIS states. August 23 High Plains has been approved by the Virginia Office of EMS as a third-party EMS software vendor. EMS agencies in Virginia can now report their PPCR data to VAOEMS using The FireManager or Medic Manager. Interested agencies should contact a member of our sales team for more information.

Western Eagle County Ambulance District, a full service 911 response agency based in Eagle, CO has chosen High Plains Information Systems Medic Manager as their new PCR reporting software. "After reviewing a number of reporting packages, we felt that Medic Manager was the most comprehensive product that would meet our current and future needs" commented District Manager Chris Montera.

June 11 Nine fire agencies in Mesa County, Colorado went live with The FireManager, bringing their physician advisor's goal of a county-wide EMS reporting system closer to fruition. The project was funded with an energy grant that was awarded to the county. Because of the grant, each of these agencies received the software and training at little or no cost.
