Mobile patient Reporting

Patient reports can be completed at the patient's side using The FireManager's mobile ePCR solution. This software was designed specifically to run on tablet PC's and is a part of a complete suite of mobile products offered by High Plains.

Mobile computing creates some challenges that The FireManager addresses with several innovative ideas that are unique to our product.

Network Connectivity. What happens with your current ePCR system if you lose network connectivity? The FireManager is not affected. Each computer has a local database where all work is stored until a connection can be established. Of course, if connectivity is available, you can receive real-time updates from your CAD system and interim copies of your PCR can be moved safely to the server's database periodically.

Fat Fingers / Little Screen. It is difficult to type and use tools like drop down menus when you are bouncing down the street in the back of an ambulance. Our Big Fat Buttons feature converts drop down menus to large buttons that can easily be read and pressed with your finger on a touch screen.

Quick Chart

Perhaps the biggest time saver is Quick Chart, a quick and easy way to chart vital signs, procedures, medications and patient examinations. Quick Chart uses Big Fat Buttons, so all of this can be done with one finger, even on a busy scene.

View movie! View a simulation of Quick Chart to see how easily you can chart vital signs, drug administation and an IV start using a touch screen tablet PC.

Signatures

Agency-defined documents can be created with the touch of a button, ready for the patient's signature. Since these documents are template-based, you can create them to incorporate information from within the PCR, like the patient's name, social security number and the provider's name. Up to 5 signatures can be caputured for each document.

Patient Contact

The time of first patient contact can be marked by pressing a large, orange button at the bottom of your screen. The computers internal clock is used to determine and store the contact time.

Press the First Contact button as soon as you see the patient
