Employee Profile
Detailed information can be maintained about all of your employees and members using Employee Profile. The employee profile is central to all functions of the human resources module, and has the following components:
Basic Information, including the employee's name, employee number, date of birth, gender, marital status, spouse's name, physical and mailing addresses, work and personal phone numbers, work and personal email addresses, important employment dates and multiple photographs.
Emergency Contacts: Any number of emergency contacts can be stored, including multiple records for each contact. In addition to phone numbers, physical and email addresses can be stored for each contact.
Status Changes: A running history is maintained of any status change, including changes in work schedule, job title, pay grade, pay rate, shift assignment, unit assignment, time accrual plans and differential pay. These changes drive scheduling, time accounting and payroll.
Dependents: Pertinent dependent information is tracked and used when the employee enrolls in available benefit plans.
Certificates: This tab provides an alternate method of viewing the certificates that an employee holds. This information can also be viewed and maintained in the certificates section of the module.
Scheduled Leave can be viewed from the employee profile in addition to the leave calendar, which is found under the scheduling menu.
Time Accrual information can be viewed and manual adjustments can be made here. Normal time accruals, such as vacation and sick leave, are processed automatically and added to each employees' account. |

Equipment Inventory. Personal equipment, such as pagers, radios, bunker gear or even staff cars are tracked in The FireManager as they are assigned to the employee.
Awards and Recognition: When an employee receives an award or special recognition from inside or outside the organization, the details are tracked and can be viewed from this tab of the employee profile.
Skills: The skills tab tracks special skills that the employee possesses, such as fluency in a foreign language; membership of special teams, such as the dive team or technical rescue team; job titles for which the employee is either promotable or qualifed; and other employee groups of which the employee is a member.
Payroll Setup: This tab is used to maintain information that is necessary to process payroll for the employee, including withholding infomation, pay methods and the social security number.
Payroll History: All historical payroll information for the employee is found on this tab.
Benefits, such as pension plans, insurance policies, and flexible spending plans can be viewed and managed on this tab as well as in their own section of the module.
